This one is just plain good. A perfect way to drink your fruits and vegetables. If you like chocolate, there’s no reason not to try this. Not only do my kids drink it, but there’s no objectionable color to this one!

Serves 2

 

INGREDIENTS: (please try to use organic ingredients when possible)

1 heaping Tablespoon of raw cocoa powder

1 ripe banana

1 Cup blueberries

2 Cups raw spinach

1 Cup unsweetened almond milk

1 T Coconut Oil

 

METHOD:

Drop everything into a blender and mix until smooth

 

Raw cocoa powder is a true superfood, because it has not been heated or stripped of any valuable enzymes and nutrients. Eating a little dark chocolate can improve blood pressure and blood vessel health, while also improving your HDL cholesterol.

Coconut oil provides the kind of fat our bodies need for energy and repair. Without fat, our bodies do not absorb essential fat soluble nutrients like A, D, K, and E. It also helps in maintaining even blood sugar levels.
